Chapter 24 - Adding the Skin and Outer Body

Alice had finished calibrating the movements for the first unit as far as possible at this point. She was satisfied that the plumbing was tight and that all of the mechanisms were working correctly. This was just a test to see that it was going to work. The fine-tuning calibration would come later.

I released the restraints and asked what the next step was. I was still a bit shaken and I didn’t know quite why. I hadn’t done anything wrong, but I felt upset.

Alice said, “Robby, I’m so sorry that you are upset. Let me know if I can do anything. Um, but until you are ready, I will just act like we are back to normal. So, here is the first part of the inner skin. I have already created sections of the sub-skin. First take this and it should pull over the lower body just like a pair of tight yoga pants. The seams are bonded. The feet have toes and you need to stretch it into place around the entire lower body. There are cutouts for the vagina and anus, just position them evenly and I will take care of the attachments to the underlying sub-structures when I do the outer skin.”

I pulled the ‘pants’ up over the feet and worked the toes into the correct areas and pressed the fabric into the spaces between. The inner body was smaller than the finished size and the parts fit well. I fitted the skin up the calves and thighs and then over the hips. The suit came halfway up the stomach and stopped between the navel and the bottom of the breasts.

The fabric had quite a bit of stretch to it, and the overall effect was a very skin-tight black suit with a fine mesh of gold threads embedded in it. I checked that the cutout for the genitalia was in the correct position and Alice assured me that everything looked right. There were some gaps beneath the fabric, but Alice assured me that the outer skin would press those tight against the structure during the final stages of assembly.

I did the same with the upper body. This part went over the arms and then the head. The fingers fit into the glove-like openings. I pulled the fabric down over the breasts and matched it up with the lower half, overlapping the parts by about an inch.

Finally, there was a head covering. This pulled over the skull and had openings for the eyes, nostrils, mouth, and ears. The thing looked a little bizarre. It looked like a gaunt person dressed in black with strange eyes looking through a dark hood. I felt a little queasy. I had to disassociate from the idea that this thing was the elves. It was like a horrid tiny body with the skin removed. Alice was right, I could not see her like this!

Alice approved my workmanship and said, “You OK? Um, it looks creepy right now, doesn’t it? I’m so sorry.
